Attempts to isolate Belarus, squeeze it out of world markets failed - Golovchenko

All attempts to isolate Belarus, squeeze it out of world markets have failed. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko in the program "Main Air".
As compared to 2020, Belarusian exports have increased almost 5.5 times. From 7 billion dollars with a tail to 40 billion dollars, - he noted. "There has been very significant growth during this period. For our country, this is a very good indicator, which confirms that everything is in order with our export strategy," the Prime Minister emphasized.
According to him, a difficult, but very important task that was solved was the complete reorientation of the lost sanctioned exports. "We have not only replaced this share, but also increased the export that went to unfriendly countries. And the share of the so-called distant arc countries in our common export basket has grown from 11% in the pre-sanction period to 20% now," Roman Golovchenko stated.
The Prime Minister expects that in the foreseeable future it will be possible to fully restore the European market. "Moreover, we continue to work on the European market, we carry out deliveries of those commodity items that the Europeans themselves do not limit," he emphasized. "And at various levels we hear signals from the business circles of European business that they are also extremely tired of this crazy policy of their authorities, which primarily harms the interests of their own businesses and their own people."
