Belarus plans to increase its presence in markets of Africa and far arc by 10%

The industrial enterprises of Belarus are opening new markets. Special interest is paid to the countries of Africa and the far arc.

According to the information of the specialized department, the supplies in these areas have already increased by 20% since the beginning of the year. Contracts for 2025 are being worked out - it is planned to increase the presence in these markets by at least another 10%.

By the end of the year, export volumes are expected to grow. The production volume of the Ministry of Industry's enterprises increased by 4% in the first half of the year. They are actively investing in development and modernization. Technological sovereignty cannot be achieved without technological equipment.

The governments of Belarus and Russia signed an agreement on the development of the machine-tool industry. The countries are working on the implementation of four projects in the machine tool industry. In general, the specialized departments of the two countries have approved a three-year action plan. It is about joint investment, cooperation and import-substituting projects.
