Golovchenko: Direct ties with Russian regions are one of the elements of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation

The issue of the new vectors of regional cooperation were discussed in the government. Direct ties with the constituent entities of Russia are one of the elements of our trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. This was stated by the Prime Minister at a meeting with the delegation of the Voronezh Region. Recent events in the world confirm the integration course is right. And Belarus is open for mutually beneficial projects in all areas.

As a result of negotiations in the Council of Ministers, the Plan of measures and the Agreement between the governments for three years were signed. In these documents they defined the priorities of economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation.

Special focus will be on the development of humanitarian ties through new tourist routes. There are also ideas for the exchange of students of Belarus and the Voronezh Region of Russia.
