Golovchenko: The main objective of the delegation's visit to Tehran is to reach agreement on the draft road map
The main objective of the Belarusian delegation's visit to Tehran is to reach an agreement on the draft road map for 2023-2026. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at the talks with the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic in a broad format. Such task was set by the heads of the two countries during the meeting in Samarkand. The draft road map is an algorithm for the development of trade, investment projects and strengthening of contacts between the two countries at all levels. Today, according to the Belarusian Prime Minister, it is important to combine efforts in all areas to preserve the economic positions of Belarus and Iran and create conditions for further sustainable development.
"The tone for this interaction is set by our leaders - the President of the Republic of Belarus and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Their regular meetings and iron will provide the necessary impetus for a constructive dialogue at all levels," said Roman Golovchenko.
The Prime Minister noted that Belarusian-Iranian relations have been flourishing this year without exaggeration. "Even in the most difficult times we have never interrupted an active political, humanitarian and economic dialogue. But now it is very important to jointly meet the challenges that the collective West poses to us," stressed the head of the Belarusian government.
Today there is a business forum scheduled in Tehran. They will discuss the supply of products. Bilateral agreements are expected to be signed.
