According to experts, in the near future the region will strengthen economic cooperation with Asian countries. Mutual interest is reinforced by diplomatic ties: the Ambassador of India arrived in Brest and had a meeting with the governor on the potential of South Asian market.

Alok Ranjan Jha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus:
First of all, the textile industry is of interest to us: it is especially developed in the Brest Region. In India, this industry is also strongly developed. The second area is IT technology, which is at a high level in Belarus. And the third area is tourism. Brest Region has a huge potential and I would like Indian citizens to come here. Negotiations between Belarusian and foreign business representatives will continue next week.
