GDP of EAEU countries falls down by 3.2% amid pandemic
In the harsh conditions of the coronavirus and the crisis in the world, Belarus managed to work even better than its partners in the EAEU in some areas. Mikhail Myasnikovich told about this to the TV News Agency in the project "Conversation with the President". A number of Belarusian industries, in particular, agriculture, worked excellent this year. Now the EAEU is entering a new phase of integration and is ready to offer projects worth hundreds of billions of dollars.
2020 became the year of a serious test of strength not only for the economy of the union, but also for the partners themselves. Against the background of the pandemic, the GDP of the EAEU countries fell by more than 3 percent. At the same time, the process of forming a common market is under way. Special attention is paid to the real sector of economy and attraction of investments.
