XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia to present industrial and cultural potential of each region - emphasis on innovation and tradition

The XI Forum of the regions of Belarus and Russia are preparing to host Vitebsk, Polotsk and Novopolotsk. Organizational issues were discussed in the regional executive committee. The locations of the forum will be thematic. Each region will present its industrial, cultural and intellectual potential. The focus is on innovation, as well as traditions, for which Belarusian and Russian cities are famous. During the forum, representatives of the regions will discuss the joint projects and current issues of cooperation in various areas.

Angelika Nikitina, deputy chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee:

“A number of thematic sections will be held. This is the innovative development of light industry, the section of industrial development ("Naftan", "Polimir"), this is our section, which brings together friends of interregional cooperation. Almost all the regions with which we have agreements have responded. And some of them even presented exhibitions and fairs.”
