Real partnership and maximum rapprochement - Minsk and Moscow survive sanctions

Year 2022 saw Belarus and Russian adhering to maximum partner rapprochement. We are not talking about any loss of sovereignty, as they say on the Internet. We are talking about equal relations, though our countries are not equal in area, resources, or number of people. Vladimir Putin came to Minsk on December 19. Belarusian journalists worked closely with him and, of course, had their own impressions in addition to the official reports.

The fact that the presidents went to the Palace of Independence in Russian AURUS cars (they were specially brought for that) means that the sides at all levels are ready for import substitution. We are going to do it quickly, not like before. The heads of state did not drive German cars as a matter of principle. And this is also a signal. Belarus starts to have a strong potential in terms of production development in association with Russia. We counted: this year alone, every month the President of Belarus hosted at least one Russian governor. We are building a space center and schools there, can you feel the scale? Our agricultural machinery, buses, components go to Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Chelyabinsk Regions, Murmansk, Voronezh, Primorsky Krai, Udmurtia - it's hard to list everything, not to mention the chains of Belarusian clothing and food stores - you'll find them even in Siberia. And all this is in demand, because the Belarusian gold model of "price-quality" is observed. Russia is a huge country, it needs a lot, so it needs partners, subcontractors and buyers.

Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:

"Belarus supplies one and a half times more products to Russia than all the CIS countries combined. We supply one third of all Chinese exports to the Russian Federation. Do you understand the scale of the economy and the export of these countries? "

According to Golovchenko, our share in Russian imports is growing in almost all indicators: "This is very good, because if we did not have something to offer, we would not be able to take advantage of it. The export of Belarusian farm products has reached 8 billion, because we redirected them to the Russian markets."
