COVID-19 in Belarus: work of outpatient clinics, specifics of infection in children and preventive measures

During the day, 1,965 patients with COVID-19 were registered in the country, 1,514 people were discharged from hospitals. During the last 3 days the daily figures from the Ministry of Health were record-breaking. The healthcare institutions got ready in advance for the arrival of the new Omicron strain - doctors underwent additional training, oxygen systems were checked, stocks of PPE and medicines were increased. Today, about 11 thousand beds were converted for COVID-19 patients - that's 13% of all beds in the country.
