Danilovich: If our ancestors had no sense of unity and strength of spirit, there would be no Belarusians

In the near future a large-scale construction will start in Belarus. Historical truth for posterity will be presented in a new building of the National Historical Museum. One site of the complex will show the centuries-old path of formation of the Belarusians.

A special instruction from Alexander Lukashenko - the museum complex should truthfully and reliably answer any historical questions about our country.

Vyacheslav Danilovich, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, answered this question.

“Undoubtedly, we have succeeded. We look at our history without any nationalistic inflections, objectively, calmly, but from the point of view of our Belarusian people and our Belarusian statehood,” emphasized the historian. - We consider each period, what was positive and negative in it, and we're not going to retouch anything and bypass the key moments of modern and not only modern - the most ancient history of Belarus.”

Everything will be presented objectively in the museum: both the achievements of our ancestors and those difficulties, difficult moments of history, through which they had to go.
