Global challenges to security discussed at international research-to-practice conference in Minsk

About 200 refugees are waiting at the National Airport for a flight to Iraq. However, the evacuation plane has not arrived in Minsk. This was stated today by Secretary of State of the Security Council of Belarus. According to Alexander Volfovich, Belarus is not to blame for what is happening today on the Belarusian-Polish border. The problem was triggered by the activities of the collective West in the Middle East and Asia.

Global challenges to security are discussed at an international research-to-practice conference in Minsk. It is an annual forum for exchange of views. The situation around Belarus is turbulent: the arsenal of means of pressure includes such methods as political and economic sanctions, as well as military activity in the territories of neighboring states. There is an increase of activity of the NATO blockade and an increase in the number of exercises.

And as Alexander Volfovich noted, the international security architecture is literally crumbling before our eyes today. Another global challenge is digitalization.
