State Border Committee of Belarus: Only 57% of trucks able to enter Lithuania during a day

The Lithuanian city of Medininkai remains the leader in the queue of heavy trucks. According to the State Border Committee, only 57% of trucks could gain access to Lithuania during a day: Only 146 out of 500 trucks have passed through Medininkai. After finishing all customs procedures in Belarus, drivers have to wait for about 4 hours. The Polish border officials have processed 74% of vehicles out of the norm. At this moment, about 5 thousand trucks are waiting for their departure from Belarus to the EU. Today, the Lithuanian side is fulfilling the established norm by 45%.
