Latvia closes Silene border crossing point on September 19

Latvia closes the checkpoint "Silene" on September 19. This is reported by BELTA with reference to the State Border Committee.

According to the official information of the Latvian side, from 20:00 on September 19, the work of the border crossing "Silene" (adjacent "Urbany") will be unilaterally unreasonably terminated for an indefinite period of time.

After the closure of Silene, it will be possible to cross the border with Latvia through the only functioning Latvian border crossing point Paternieki (adjacent Grigorovshchina).
