Our military has a clear task - every Belarusian must feel protected! Meanwhile local authorities, as before, have to ensure the normal functioning of the economy and deliver solutions to the urgent problems of the people. In a word, life goes on!

Belarus has always adhered to a policy of good neighborliness and acted as a donor of regional security. It has provided a negotiating platform for the contact group on Ukraine, while not claiming to perform a peacekeeping mission. Official Minsk always talks about peace! Even today, it is ready to contribute to the resolution of the conflict through diplomacy while there is still such an opportunity. The President is convinced of it. At the same time Alexander Lukashenko commented on the concerns of our citizens about the possible threats to Belarus. There is no reason to panic - that is the main message!

The defense of the southern border has been strengthened, but not to the detriment of the control of other borders. Our military sees everything and analyzes it, the minister assured.
