On April 12, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree № 102 "On the development of the Park of High technologies," prepared on the basis of the meeting on the development of the IT industry in the country, BelTA informs.
The document is aimed at creating conditions for further development of HTP based on modern technological trends and actually opens a new page in the history of the IT-industry in Belarus.
The decree provides for the establishment of a management company in the structure of the High-Tech Park, which will be in charge of the intensive strategic development of HTP. The management company will represent HTP when interacting with foreign partners, assist HTP residents in expanding exports, entering new markets and attracting foreign investments.
At the same time, all conditions of activity in the Park - legal, tax, and financial - will remain at the same level without any changes.
The powers of the Supervisory Board of the HTP will be retained in full, and a secretariat will be formed to support its activities.
