Lukashenko tells about details of exchange of perpetrator of terrorist attack in Machulishchi
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko revealed details of the exchange of the saboteur accused of carrying out the terrorist attack in Machulishchi, BelTA reports.
"And a very small question, which I see is sounding. I didn't even somehow pay attention in social networks to it. Exchanges of servicemen between Russia and Ukraine. I wouldn't even raise this issue: it's a routine job. It has been determined by the President of Russia, he told me about it. It is complicated, difficult, but things happen. People are captured there and here. The Russians have an order of magnitude more prisoners. Ukraine has far fewer. I know this too - already from the mouth of Ukraine," said Alexander Lukashenko.
"Everything was simple. No clergymen were involved. It was a request of the President of Russia: if possible, to help release the famous clergyman Ionafan. Ukrainians addressed us with this request. I said to Putin: "What are we going to do? Your decision?" So we gave this man to Ukraine, they gave us the priest," the President revealed the details.
