International scientific-practical conference timed to centennial of Supreme Court of Belarus held in Minsk

The experience of the Belarusian justice model arouses interest abroad. This was stated by Chairman of the Supreme Court Valentin Sukalo.

On February 15, the international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the centennial of the Supreme Court started in Minsk. The heads of the key state bodies of the country, heads and judges of the EAEU Court, the CIS Economic Court, leading legal scholars of Belarus, the Supreme Court of Russia and representatives of the scientific community were invited to participate in the conference. In total, about 200 people will take part in the conference (including on-line).

As Valentin Sukalo notes, the development of the judicial systems in Belarus and Russia should be harmonized. This is necessary to make the judicial procedures coincide. Many of the approaches and ideas are similar in the judicial systems of the EAEU countries.
