Belarusian multi-child families prefer using family capital for improving their living conditions

About 60,000 multi-child families in Belarus have used the "family capital". And the majority, 84% used it to improve their living conditions. These data was announced today during the press conference timed to the Day of Mothers by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Valery Kovalkov.

There are almost 120 000 parents with many children in the country today. And the majority live in Brest Region. Allocation of the family capital is one of the measures to support families with three and more children. In addition, such parents get allowances, targeted and social assistance, a tax deduction for minors. and assistance in improving living conditions.

The father plays an important role in the upbringing of children. This year for the first time the country will celebrate the Day of Fathers on October 21. And the whole week, starting with Mother's Day on October 14, will be marked by the Week of Parenthood. Celebrations and family events will be held all over the country.
