We are not going to carry on war - Volfovich on attempts to draw Belarus into conflict

All attempts of the USA and the collective West are aimed at preserving the unipolar world. This was stated by the State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich during a meeting with the staff of Grodno Azot and the ideological activists of Grodno organizations on the current military and political situation in the country and abroad.

"The United States leadership imagines itself as a democratic outpost, fighting for democracy and human rights. In fact, if you look, evaluate and analyze what is done today by the political leadership of the United States of America, as well as the collective West under its hood, all attempts are aimed at maintaining unipolar world," said Alexander Volfovich.

Alexander Volfovich added that Belarus is one of the few security corners in the Eastern European region. "And not everyone likes that this corner of stability is in the state that we see today, that today our enterprises work, that people live normally, that people don't go hungry, come to the stores and can choose quite a wide range of products and everything else. Not everyone likes the policy pursued by our President and government to ensure the security of our people," he stated.

"The West thinks that since it's stable here, they should make a corner of instability here, too, and drag us into a military conflict in the territory of Ukraine, a special military operation. But they don't succeed, because the President has clearly said that we will not carry on war, especially not with our brotherly people. And we are not going to fight with other nations either: be it Polish, Lithuanian, or Latvian people. They are our neighbors. We have always lived peacefully and amicably with them. And the people who come today for visa-free regime, they see the situation in the Republic of Belarus," concluded the Secretary of State of the Security Council.
