Girl from Lugansk listed by Nazis on "Peacemaker" website appeals to Belarus President
Faina Savenkova, a girl from Lugansk, told that Nazis put her on the "Peacemaker" list. She allegedly poses a threat to the national security of Ukraine. Although Faina, like any other child, simply wants peace and talks about the tragedy of Donbass in her books, they are now being translated into a number of foreign languages. Faina found herself on the "Peacemaker" website, which had publicly posted the data of 326 other children.
Mira Terado, human rights activist and founder of the Foundation to Battle Injustice Mira Terado:
"Even when adult people's data is entered, it contradicts both international and national legislation. So what about children? So I set a task for my colleagues to find out if there are other minors on the "Peacemaker" website. As it turned out, the resource contains information about 327 children, 72 of whom were Russian citizens at the time. We wrote an appeal to the Investigation Committee and the Federal Security Service, asking them to carry out the necessary checks and subsequently declare "Peacemaker" a terrorist organization and everyone behind it a terrorist. "
Mira Terado is a human rights activist who created the Anti-Repression Foundation. She and her team, along with Faina Savenkova, were among the first to point out the illegal posting of minors' data on the "Peacemaker" website.
It is known that three of the children on this list are Belarusians. In this regard, Faina Savenkova made an appeal to the Belarusian President.
"I am a child of war and for three years I have been telling about what I see in my homeland. For this I was declared an enemy of Ukraine, and my data was posted on the "Peacemaker" website. In addition to my data, the Foundation to Battle Injustice found on the site the illegally published personal data with addresses and phone numbers of 326 children, including from Belarus. Alexander Grigoryevich, we all know how dangerous it is, so I ask you to help find everyone involved in this site to ensure the safety of the children against whom the crimes were committed. I would like to thank you for the fact that you, despite the dangers, did not allow the war, saved your people. I am very sorry that this did not happen in Ukraine. "
It is not normal for children to perceive war as a significant part of their lives and their reality. Faina also wrote letters to the Pope, to Olaf Scholz. But what can they say and do if they are not independent, if they don't have their own decisions. Belarus is different. The pain of Donbass is also our pain.
The children of Donbass want to live and are asking for a response from the international community.
