About 70 projects presented by young scientists at Academy of Sciences
Mobile applications for schoolchildren, medical developments and useful products: about 70 projects were presented by young scientists at the Academy of Sciences. Many of them were demonstrated for the first time. For example, young biologists presented a collection of insects, which includes specimens of both native and world fauna of butterflies. And the simulator for training of unmanned aerial vehicle operators will allow teaching with the help of the developed computer 3D-models of specific drones. Today this development has been introduced into the training process of the Belarusian Aviation Academy and has already proved its efficiency. Cadets are successfully trained on the simulator, and the development is also exported.
Young scientists of the Academy of Sciences and our universities are really highly motivated. They strive for science, they get a good basis of scientific knowledge in universities, they come to us and implement scientific programs. And I must say that even our foreign colleagues who come and visit us are surprised and admire the high motivation, good knowledge of English, the ability to conduct a scientific dialogue.
Today, the forum of scientific youth "The Road to Science" also opened. More than 300 representatives of scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences, universities, undergraduates and graduate students will exchange experiences and listen to lectures of the leading scientists.
