Students of Masherov Vitebsk State University granted right to light Eternal Flame in Vitebsk

Representatives of public associations, schoolchildren and labor veterans gathered at the memorial sign on Victory Avenue in Vitebsk. The right to light the Eternal Flame was given to the students of Masherov Vitebsk State University.

During the Great Patriotic War, Vitebsk was completely destroyed as a result of fierce battles. The city had to be rebuilt from scratch. Belarusians remember the price of victory and say thank you to the defenders.
