Vatican spokesman about Vladimir Makei: He was a man of a dialogue

Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei was a man of a dialogue. This opinion was expressed to BelTA correspondent by the Apostolic Nuncio in Belarus Ante Jozic, who took part in the farewell ceremony for Vladimir Makei in Minsk.

"The death of Vladimir Makei is a great loss not only for your state, but also for all of us who knew him and who worked with him, both in the West and in the East. He was a man of dialogue, and I felt it many times during our meetings," the Apostolic Nuncio said.

The Vatican representative expressed hope that the course of dialogue pursued by Vladimir Makei would remain and contribute to peace and harmony.
