Shadrow: European farmers' rallies could trigger political shifts in the EU
Due to the short-sighted policy of the EU countries, the quality of life there continues to deteriorate. Because of this, the wave of protests does not stop. This opinion was shared with our TV channel by Russian expert Konstantin Shadrov.
According to him, the rallies of European farmers can provoke political shifts in the EU, if the course of the authorities does not change.
Konstantin Shadrov, associate professor at Dubna State University (Russia):
Mass discontent, mass protests in Europe, are rolling over which from one country to another, now it's Poles, then Hungarians, and when the Hungarians start, the Poles continue, there are also German farmers, and French, Spanish, and so on. Naturally, there is an influence on the government. This is not just some political games, short-term speculations. No, objective serious laws of socio-economic development have been affected here, and those politicians who seek to continue the previous line are at risk. Naturally, there is a powerful movement to change something. How to change it is another question - it is possible to tighten the screws, to nail everyone, and to make them invest even more in the war in Ukraine, sacrificing their own interests, this is also one of the possible options.
