Orthodox believers observe Radunitsa

The church and folk calendar is marked today by a great and bright date. According to ancient tradition, every year on the second Tuesday after the Resurrection of Christ, people remember their dead relatives and ancestors.

Radunitsa is also called an Easter for the dead. On this day, Christians rejoice in their birth in the afterlife. Candles are lit in churches, special services are held, including Easter songs. On this day, it is customary to visit cemeteries and restore order to the graves.
