Polling stations across Belarus closed at 8 p.m. on February 27

The polling stations all over the country closed the day before at exactly 20:00. First the members of commissions checked out the lists, extinguished the unused ballot papers - this is required by the protocol. And only afterwards they started counting. First of all, they opened the ballot boxes for early voting and for those who decided to cast their vote at home. Then they counted the ballot papers filled in on the main day. The high turnout of Belarusians was recorded on all days of the referendum.
