Belarus plans to transfer all state registration procedures to electronic format this year

This year, Belarus plans to transfer all procedures of state registration into electronic format. This was reported by Chairman of the State Property Committee Dmitry Matusevich. Going online will substantially simplify the life of citizens. One of the latest digital products is a unified register of empty houses, it has been in operation since the beginning of the year. With open and free access, anyone can not only find and view the characteristics of the houses, but also see their location and condition online. On top of everything else, the committee announces innovations important for business.

Dmitry Matusevich, Chairman of the State Property Committee of Belarus:

“The decree on the lease has been agreed with all interested parties, will undergo expert review and will be submitted to the head of state for a report. The decree with preferential reduction coefficients for industrial facilities and some other novelties will contribute to the development of small businesses because there is demand for leased space. And the second interesting step on the part of the state: since 2019, we will not raise the base rental value, this year.”

Overall, at the end of the year, the Property Committee prepared 127 regulations. First of all, this is the updated Land Code. The most important thing is that the innovations work and show results. For example, about 80 Belarusians were able to correct the borders of their plots without extra financial and time expenditures. And about 160 citizens purchased their land plots at preferential prices.
