Parliamentarians visit veterans, rear workers and former concentration camp prisoners on May 9
Attention and care is given to the last witnesses of the war years. On the eve of the Great Victory Day the parliamentarians visit veterans, rear workers and former concentration camp prisoners. Mikhail Konchits, from the village of Gorodok, is 97 years old. He was a machine gunner during the war, took part in fights for liberation of Belarus, was wounded thrice. Peace and independence, love his homeland and respect to its historyare the main values of the veteran's life.
I would advise young people to obey their elders, respect the older generation, work honestly. We worked hard after the war to restore the state, and we restored it.
Meetings are very important for us, for war veterans, who should know that they are remembered, they are known, it is important for our descendants. Something like this cannot be repeated in our land.
Equally important is to help with pressing issues. At the request of Mikhail Konchits - wood for heating was brought to his house... The veteran's living conditions are under the senator's control.
