Ambrazevich recalls initiative of Belarus to develop Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in XXI century
Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yuri Ambrazevich in his speech at the high-level opened debate at the UN Security Council reminded about the initiative of the Belarusian side to develop the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the XXI century, reports BELTA.
The debate is devoted to the theme of multilateral cooperation for a more just, democratic and sustainable world order.
Yuri Ambrazevich stated the complex situation in the world, which is on the brink of the third world war. "The West has failed to lead multilateralism as a true leader might have done, but Western elites have tried to maximize their advantages to exploit others. Resistance to this has led to increased tension in the world, increased conflict, degradation of the system of international security, confidence-building measures, arms control, confrontation to one degree or another with a certain part of the international community and even war in Europe," the deputy minister said. - We are witnessing a conscious refusal of the Western elites, represented by NATO, from multilateralism in solving crises and betting on confrontation with those whom they have identified as competitors, adversaries and threats.
The Belarusian diplomat recalled such facts as the real war unleashed by Poland on the border with Belarus against migrants.
