Four regions of Belarus and Russia sign protocols of intent to cooperate in Grodno

Belarus is actively developing cooperation with Russian regions. New protocols of intent were signed in Grodno the day before.

The ceremony took place during the working visit of Kaliningrad Region delegation within the framework of the project "Russia-Belarus: Strong Partnership". Now Zelenograd municipal district and Zelva district executive committee, as well as Svetlogorsk city district and Novogrudok district executive committee will cooperate in science and education, information and youth policy.

Grodno and Kaliningrad regions have a long history of mutually beneficial relations. The cooperation agreement between the regions was signed back in 1996.
