Lukashenko: "Peace-loving" countries fail to suppress Belarus and Russia and make best minds run away
The "Peace-loving" countries failed to suppress Belarus and Russia to make the best minds run away from there. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA informs.
"The Ambassador reported to me on the way and I was pleasantly surprised that your companies have ordered more than $300 million worth of products from our IT specialists. They have paid over $300 million. Everyone was shouting: "Look, they ran away from Belarus, and so on..." Only Belarusians ordered 300 million worth of products from Russia, and they paid. And if you take Russian IT people - there are several billions of dollars there. So even here the "peace-loving" countries did not manage to suppress us so that the best minds, as they said, ran away from our countries. So, import substitution is still moving forward," said the President.
Alexander Lukashenko particularly emphasized that in 2022 Russia and Belarus will have an unprecedented turnover of goods and services: $50 billion.
