Lukashenko: My children will not be presidents
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in his message to the people and the Parliament that his children would not be presidents, BelTA informs.
"We have to stop all this talk about heredity and succession. My children are not going to be presidents," said the President.
He also stressed that he is not hanging on for the presidency, but under the current circumstances it is important to think about the future and the interests of the country and the people. Many people abroad would like to see Lukashenko gone. "So we have to do the opposite," said the President.
This phrase was met with applause by those invited to the Address. "It doesn't mean that I'm going to hold on to this position again because of circumstances. No, and again no. I am thinking about the future," stressed the Belarusian leader.
The main thing is that the citizens of Belarus, their children and grandchildren should live in a peaceful country.
