Lukashenko about talks in Beijing: We have no closed topics for cooperation

Belarus and China have no closed topics for cooperation. We cooperate in all directions. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, as BelTA reports.

New horizons of cooperation with China will be outlined during the talks in Beijing. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting.

.The President thanked the Chinese side for its great assistance and support to the Belarusian people and the country. He said that this is his 13th visit to China as President. And China was the first country to adopt experience in several areas, first of all in the creation of free economic zones. "We learned the best from you (30 years ago when we started this process). We have done a lot since then. And the pearl, the crown of our relations was the (industrial park. -BelTA's note) "Great Stone" - a large international project, which we opened with the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping near Minsk. And he called this project a pearl of the Silk Road," said the head of state.

"We have no closed topics for cooperation. We cooperate in all directions. And, most importantly, we have never set ourselves the task to be friends or to work against third countries, anyone. We are doing everything for the benefit of our people - the Belarusian and Chinese. We will continue doing the same," assured the Belarusian leader.

He noted that the heads of state had agreed on the current negotiations with the leadership of China at a meeting in Samarkand last fall. "We will try to outline new horizons of our cooperation," said the President of Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated the Chinese side on the success of the next Congress of the Communist Party of China

"We all have been watching the situation and this congress very carefully. We see the situation in the international arena. And we congratulate you on moving forward calmly, thoughtfully. You are going your own way, you are not disturbing anyone and you are not reacting to petty stings from the left and the right against the PRC. This is fully consistent with the spirit and character of the Chinese people," said the Belarusian leader.
