Savinykh: Parliamentarians pay attention to needs of business community

The parliamentarians are attentive to the needs of the business community and work with business unions. Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives Andrei Savinykh told this to the press today.

"Parliamentarians have always been very attentive to the needs and demands of the business community. We believe that creating favorable economic and investment climate is a fundamental condition for the prosperity of the state. In this regard, we work most closely with business unions, trying to respond to their requests and needs," said Andrei Savinykh.

"We are constantly working to improve the investment climate. Of course, direct instruments, which facilitate the taxation system, the system of business registration and other operations, are in the hands of the executive branch. But we're also constantly analyzing the current laws to see how they affect entrepreneurs, and we're constantly consulting with them. This practice will continue," the deputy emphasized.

Today the Union of Legal Entities "Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship" holds a business forum "Development of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Belarus" as one of the most important tasks of social and economic life of the country. The forum is timed to the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the confederation.

The world is going through deglobalization and redistribution of power and centers of influence

"The world is entering a very difficult period of development. By and large, we can state that globalization stops and gives way to regionalization, the so-called process of deglobalization. It means that different countries will unite into unions, creating their own markets, labor division systems, payment and logistics systems. We see this all over the world. And there is a clear redistribution of forces and centers of influence. Unfortunately, this also leads to an escalation of economic warfare, we see the widespread use of sanctions and restrictions. We can already state that the World Trade Organization is no longer working on the former principles," said Andrei Savinykh.

"We understand that this is an inevitable process of restructuring and creating a multipolar world. We will do our utmost for this transition to be as smooth as possible for Belarus and the entire region," said the deputy.
