Sergei Aleinik arrives in Astana to participate in SCO Ministerial Council meeting

Belarus plans to become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as early as July this year. Today, Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik arrived in Astana to participate in the SCO Ministerial Council meeting. Taking into account the richness of the international agenda, he was invited to the event on a preliminary basis.

The schedule includes participation and speech of the Belarusian delegation at the Council meeting, a collective meeting with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan, a number of bilateral negotiations. Today Aleinik met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Our minister rightly noted that cooperation between Belarus and China is a model of a new type of international relations
