CSTO Member States agree on operation plan to counter illegal migration
The CSTO countries have agreed on a plan for a regional operation in 2023 to counter illegal migration, the press secretary of the CSTO Vladimir Zaynetdinov said after a meeting of the international headquarters of the Regional Anti-Illegal Migration Committee. This was reported by CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov after the meeting of the international headquarters of the regional operation "Illegal Migrant," which was chaired by the Secretary of the Coordinating Council of Heads of competent authorities of the CSTO member States on combating illegal migration, Police Lieutenant-General Valentina Kazakova, reports BelTA.
"Representatives of national headquarters of the member states of the organization have discussed the concept of the operation under the code name "Illegal Migrant 2023" and agreed on the timing of the stages of active measures in the current year. In addition, during the meeting the issues of interaction during the operation were considered and agreed upon, communication channels and the order of information exchange were determined," said the spokesman.
Representatives of all national headquarters of CSTO member states for operation "Illegal", as well as employees of the CSTO Secretariat and representatives of the Coordinating Council of Border Troops Commanders, the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center, state security and financial monitoring bodies participated in the meeting.
