Delegation from St. Petersburg welcomed in Minsk

Minsk City Hall welcomed a delegation from St. Petersburg. The parties discussed the exchange of experience in fire safety, law enforcement and the use of modern technologies in urban environment. They discussed the production of Belarusian fire-fighting equipment and the possibility of selling such vehicles in the city on the Neva River. One of the successful Russian projects, "Safe City" function, was also discussed. This is a video surveillance system, which sends the facts of road accidents, smoke and fire to the monitoring center. The Belarusian capital also seeks to equip the entire housing stock with video cameras.

St. Petersburg delegation also visited a number of enterprises and organizations of the capital. They discussed the prospects for joint innovation projects.
