Alexander Lukashenko extends condolences to President of Georgia over people killed in helicopter crash in Gudauri
A border service helicopter crashed in Georgia. It was heading into the mountains to rescue the distressed hang-gliders.
The mission was to get two people out of a gorge who had had an accident after their glider hit a rock.
There were eight people aboard the helicopter: the crew, medics and rescuers. At some point, the vehicle lost control, began to descend and crashed on the rocks. On behalf of our people and on his own behalf, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has extended sincere condolences and words of support to President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and to the bereaved families and relatives.
