President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the workers and veterans of Belarusbank on the 100th anniversary. This is reported by BelTA, citing the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"You can be rightly proud of the century-old history of the truly national bank of the country, reputed for its reliability built by several generations of highly skilled professionals," the message says.

Today, Belarusbank is the leader of the national financial market with network of branches and offices that render services to enterprises and citizens both in regional centers and in small towns and agro-towns, the President noted.

"The active crediting of investment projects and buyers of domestic goods, participation in vital state programmes and implementation of innovative banking technologies support economic development of the country and contribute to the prosperity of our people," the Belarusian leader said. - Efforts to expand the availability of banking services and support for major state initiatives in the social sphere deserve special public recognition," the President said.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the staff of the Belarusbank would preserve its traditions and continue its progressive advance in the vanguard of the country's banking system.
