Lukashenko signs decree on financial rehabilitation of two construction organizations

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 68 "On financial rehabilitation of construction organizations" on February 23, BelTA informs.

The document is aimed at supporting two construction organizations, which are part of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction - Grodnopromstroi and Construction Trust No. 8. For the purpose of their financial recovery the organizations' debts are subject to restructuring.

The issue of providing support to the mentioned construction organizations was discussed on January 18 this year at the meeting of the President with the leadership of the Council of Ministers. Then the head of state did not immediately sign the proposed draft decree, demanding to strictly link the support to the fulfillment of a number of requirements.

In pursuance of the President's instruction, the signed decree stipulates that the condition for the provision of state support is the annual achievement by organizations of the indicators on the amount of profit from the sale of goods (works, services) and the volume of contracted work, which have been given to them in accordance with the established procedure. A failure to fulfill this condition will result in termination of state support.

Personal responsibility for the implementation of the decree is assigned to the heads of construction companies and RUE "Belstroitsentr," the Minister of Architecture and Construction, Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of the construction industry, under control of the Council of Ministers.
