Lukashenko congratulates President of Angola João Lourenço on his reappointment as head of state

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of the Republic of Angola João Lourenço on the victory of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola in general elections and his reappointment as President of the country. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of the Belarusian state emphasized that the results of the voting testify to the high level of the nation's trust in the course of the development of Angola.

"I hope that friendship and mutual respect, which has been the basis of cooperation between Belarus and Angola since the last century, will contribute to developing the full potential of bilateral cooperation between Minsk and Luanda in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other fields," reads the congratulation.
