Lukashenko invites Iraq to resume constructive contacts with Belarus at all levels

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Abdul Latif Rashid on his election as President of Iraq. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"I am sure that your tenure will become a time of new achievements in sustainable development of the society and economy of the country. I invite Baghdad to resume constructive contacts with Minsk at all levels. For my part, I confirm my readiness to contribute to intensifying cooperation and I count on further expansion of fruitful cooperation between our countries," reads the congratulatory message.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Abdul Latif Rashid good health, success in his political career and the unfailing support of the Iraqis who had entrusted him with this responsible mission.
