Lukashenko expresses condolences to President of Dominican Republic in connection with natural disaster

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent condolences to President of the Dominican Republic Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona in connection with the natural disaster in the country, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.

"The Republic of Belarus has received with pain and sorrow the message about the natural disaster in the Dominican Republic. On behalf of the Belarusian people and myself personally, I express my deep condolences and words of support to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to those affected by extremely heavy rains and floods," said Alexander Lukashenko.

The head of state wished the Dominican Republic a speedy recovery from the consequences of the tragic accident.
