About Kursk, drones violating our border, recent statements of Kiev and Warsaw - what else did Alexander Lukashenko talk about in his interview to the TV channel "Russia"?
Red lines, the situation in Kursk Region, Ukrainian drones and allied relations between Minsk and Moscow.
Alexander Lukashenko gave a great interview to the TV channel "Russia". The conversation between the President and journalist Yevgeni Popov lasted about two hours. The President answered all the questions in his usual manner, including reaction to another ill-considered decision of Lithuania. Since August 16, the state has banned the entry of all cars with Belarusian license plates.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
"Madmen. If I were you, I would not comment on many questions about Lithuania. Because they do not know what they are doing. They are madmen, the very real madmen. There's nothing to say about them. If there were responsible politicians there, we could discuss their policy. But there are no responsible politicians there."
According to Alexander Lukashenko, there are even pluses in this decision of the Lithuanian authorities from the economic point of view. "Thank God, our people will stop exporting (at least it's less now) money outside Belarus and Russia. The same goes for the Russians. The money will remain here. This so-called economic tourism is a huge amount of money, which was exported from here," he said.
The President noted that Lithuanians are very hardworking people from the Soviet times: same Ukraine and Lithuania were pearls in the Soviet Union.
