Belarusian national handball team enters main round of World Championship

The national handball team of Belarus made its way to the main round of the World Championship. In the final match of the preliminary stage, Yuri Shevtsov's team lost 25:29 to Slovenia. The rival finished second in the group H, Russian team became the leaders of the group.

The points scored in the match with the defeated team are burned out in the main round. This is South Korea in our Group. That is, the Belarusians will have one point in the asset due to a draw with the Russians, our eastern neighbors have three points, and the Slovenes have two points. Our team will play with the Swedes tomorrow, on Friday the match will be held with the Egyptians and the last game will be with North Macedonia on Sunday.
