China has informed other governments that it will not take part in the Swiss conference on Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports citing Reuters.
As BELTA writes, China rejected the invitation due to failure to fulfill the conditions for its participation. According to the agency, this is due to the absence of Russia at the conference.
Earlier it was reported that China may limit itself to the presence of a senior civil servant at the event. The conference on Ukraine will be held on June 15-16 near the Swiss city of Lucerne. In total, about 160 states were invited to the meeting. However, Russia was not sent an invitation.
