Collapse of the U.S. predicted by Chinese media
Washington's attempts to maintain hegemony in the world are doomed to failure. That is the conclusion reached by journalists of the Chinese newspaper Global Times. The publication notes that the United States keeps a firm hand on its allies trying to restrain Russia and China, waging economic confrontation, spreading slander, and now wants to pretend to be a "gentle giant" who does not want to be challenged.
"Whether the U.S. likes it or not, there are more and more voices calling for a new world order. De-dollarization has begun. Countries are paying more attention to regional multilateral cooperation. The BRICS is growing in importance, while the influence of the G7 is declining. Mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are becoming more and more popular. These are trends that the U.S. cannot overcome even by creating enemies, increasing pressure or imposing coercion on others," the Chinese journalists summarize.
