Mechanism launched: Religious split in Ukraine is nothing but the systematic destruction of the country

The World Council of Churches issued a statement regarding the law adopted in Ukraine, allowing to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The Council is “concerned about the possibility of unjustified collective punishment of an entire religious community and a violation of the principles of freedom of religion and belief.” The Ukrainian government was urged to be cautious, to protect citizens' rights and social cohesion. Sadly, it is too late. The destructive mechanism has already been legislatively set in motion. Religious schism is nothing but a tool for the West to systematically destroy Ukraine.

The bill that would ban the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the country was first supported by 265 deputies of the Rada, who began to rage already during the announcement of the results.

And on Saturday, August 24, Zelensky, by signing the bill betrayed the Ukrainian people.

“This is the abolition of 25 million Ukrainian citizens who live in the country today. Why such a figure? Because it is 25 million people living in Ukraine who consider themselves members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This is a war with its people. It is a war with its church. It's a war on its morality. It is a war with its identity. I can't think of anyone else in the last 100 years who could have waged such a war against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.”
