International Criminal Court may issue arrest warrant for Netanyahu

The Prime Minister of Israel is seriously concerned about the prospect of arrest warrant that can be issued by the International Criminal Court in The Hague because of military action in the Gaza Strip. This is reported by the newspaper Maariv.

According to the newspaper, in recent days Netanyahu has made significant efforts to prevent such a development. In particular, he held many telephone conversations in an attempt to achieve any positive result for himself.

However, the newspaper reports that it may only be a matter of time before the International Criminal Court issues a warrant against Netanyahu. In addition, the court in The Hague may also declare Israel's Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff wanted.
