New York Times: plant launched in Texas to produce 155-millimeter shells for Kiev
The U.S. does not stop doing everything to make sure that the war to the last Ukrainian does not end. According to the New York Times, in Texas launched a plant to produce 155-millimeter shells for Kiev. This is the first plant that the Pentagon has erected from scratch after the start of hostilities. The plant will produce 30,000 shells a month, which is about twice the current U.S. output. However, even this is unlikely to save the situation.
The Czech initiative to buy a million rounds of ammunition did not work out as well - almost half of the shells purchased in Africa and Asia for Kiev turned out to be of poor quality or flawed and cannot be delivered on time, according to the Financial Times.
